We provide English and Citizenship instruction, support services and tutoring to immigrant adults, with an emphasis on promoting participation in the social, cultural, economic, and political mainstream of U.S. society.

保衛華埠委員會
We work to stabilize and grow Chinatown as a working class, family neighborhood and regional center for the Chinese American community through organizing for democratic neighborhood decision-making, community-driven planning, job opportunities from development, affordable housing, tenant rights, and citywide policy reform.

We develop and participate in citywide and regional coalitions such as the Boston Tenant Coalition, Community Labor United, Immigrant Worker Center Collaborative, and Right to the City.

We provide drop-in information, referrals, and know-your-rights counseling on a wide range of issues. We also provide voter registration and information, Chinse survival certificate renewal, and immigration forms. Membership activities include a drop-in “tea time,” field trips, and social gatherings.

Green Justice (Environmental Justice)
CPA fights for environmental justice for communities that often contribute the least but are hurt the most by climate change, fighting for green jobs, community education, climate resilience, transit justice, microgrid technology and air quality protection to preserve the well-being of our communities.

We provide a small exhibit space, the Henry Wong and You King Yee Memorial Gallery, with an entrace at One Nassau Street, for photography and art which document and express community struggles. Exhibits are produced by the Gallery Committee as well as by partnering with community/cultural groups and artists.

We increase the civic participation and collective political clout of the Chinese community. Our strategy is to combine particpatory issue-based organizing with broad based voter education activities, expand our local political base, and build coalitions with other disenfranchised communities.
Our programs wouldn’t exist without your support.
