The Chinatown Bike-a-thon is a green and healthy fundraiser to support youth leadership and a brighter future in our community. All proceeds go to our youth leadership development program, the Chinese Youth Initiative (CYI). CYI provides internship opportunities to high school aged youth from the Greater Boston area, combining an Asian American Studies curriculum with hands-on community service and organizing projects. Over the past twenty one years, CYI youth have played crucial roles in the campaign for a Chinatown library, voter registration drives, support for immigrant workers’ rights, establishing the first Chinatown Youth Platform, advocating for public transit and much more.
Bike 16 miles along the Charles River (8 mile route also available for novices and families with young children)
Complimentary 2015 Bike-a-thon T-shirt and picnic lunch provided!
Adult Riders Must Raise a Minimum of $70 to participate, $35 for Students
Register by signing up below! Sign up on Crowdrise, set a fundraising goal and create your own personal page! You can also create a team with friends and co-workers or join an existing team. Then ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you for the Bike-A-Thon! Online donations can be submitted on your Crowdrise page. You can also collect cash and check and submit them the day of the event (you can also record them on your Crowdrise page as an “Offline Donation). Download the pledge form below if you want your own hard copy to track donations.
Don’t have a bike? Don’t worry, when you register indicate that you need a bike. Bikes are available on a first come first serve basis.

Pledge to be a Youth Hero Rider!
This year we are launching a program to recognize supporters who are greatly successful in raising money for the Chinese Youth Initiative. Raise $250 or more and become a Youth Hero Rider and win cool CPA prizes and be honored at the Bike-A-Thon Picnic!
Gold Level Rider - $1000
Gold Riders will get: A special Youth Hero Rider: Gold Level Bike-A-Thon T-Shirt, Cool Red CPA T-Shirt, Set of CPA Greeting Cards, and a 1 Year CPA Membership
Silver Level Rider - $500
Silver Riders will get: Cool Red CPA T-Shirt, Set of CPA Greeting Cards and a 1 Year CPA Membership
Bronze Level Rider - $250
Bronze Riders will get: Set of CPA Greeting Cards and a 1 Year CPA Membership
Honor Roll Rider - $100
Honor Roll Riders will get: a 1 Year CPA Membership
