On Monday March 31st, over 250 people gathered in Downtown Boston to protest Millennium Partners. As the developer of the $500 million luxury housing tower at Filene's Basement downtown, members and allies of the Boston Jobs Coalition called on Millennium to ensure community access to good construction and permanent jobs, and to pay $5.9 million in unpaid affordable housing funds for their previous luxury tower in Chinatown.

Over 100 residents attended Speak-Out about the housing crisis and delivered a petition to the Mayor urging him to expand the Inclusionary Development Program (IDP) and target resources to neighborhood stabilization.

On February 28, CPA celebrated the Lunar New Year with over 350 guests at the China Pearl Restaurant. The banquet highlighted CPA's work to Stabilize Chinatown and the 20th Anniversary of its Chinese Youth Initiative program.

On February 5, Mayor Walsh came to Chinatown to hear from tenants facing displacement the need to preserve Chinatown as a residential neighborhood. Three days later, CPA and other activists rallied to stabilize Chinatown!
